The evolution of our FTTS solution.
This is a last generation FTTS (Fiber To The Store) project, which bundles all our experience and evolution for Shopping Center solutions. The services of telephony, data and Internet, television, POS (Point of Sales), videosecurity and private networks are delivered to each shop on one single optical fiber. Moreover all premises have a WiFi service for internal usage for telephony, and for the public. Internet for the public has an aggregated power of 9W.
The original design was made for 120 shops and restaurants which receive the services at a MB (Multimedia Box) and which are controlled remotely from out of the island by highly qualified personnel. Blue Mall St. Maarten is managed totally from out of the country.
Telephone services are provided by IP- technology and traditional analogue technology. The TV system has capacity for three different providers, Satellite, OFF net, and via cable. The provision of the services is done at a single point of the network. They are delivered by the optical fiber platform to the user who has signed up for them.
